Aloha Performing Arts Company is making final preparations for its sixth annual gala fundraiser — “Encore! Encore! A Quarter Century with APAC.” This benefit event will feature gourmet food, wine and locally brewed beer, as well as live and silent auctions and live entertainment. “Encore! Encore!” will begin at 6 p.m. March 15 at the Aloha Theatre in Kainaliu.

A Quarter Century with APAC.” This benefit event will feature gourmet food, wine and locally brewed beer, as well as live and silent auctions and live entertainment. “Encore! Encore!” will begin at 6 p.m. March 15 at the Aloha Theatre in Kainaliu.
Auction items include artwork, walk-on roles, antiques, jewelry and activities. Adventures and one-of-a-kind items will be offered by donors including Sea Quest Rafting and Snorkeling, Atlantis Submarine, Dolphin Quest, Adventures in Paradise Kayaking Tours, Blue Ginger Gallery, Lavender Moon Gallery, Kona Eco Adventures, Hualalai Golf Course, Imiloa Astronomy Center, Wyland and Kohala Zipline.
Entertainment will consist of four medleys of songs from shows produced by APAC in the past 27 years. The first act will feature a Rodgers and Hammerstein medley and an arrangement of spooky songs. The second act offers a love medley and a medley of songs from teen-oriented shows. Dale Ross will direct a small orchestra.
